The College Provides Hostel facilities for Tribal Students. Currently we have 2 hostels.
Hostel life gives an opportunity to interact with different people, to know the culture of different regions and above all it makes an individual to learn the lesson of unity in diversity. The college has three tribal hostels, two for girls with a total capacity of 172 and one for boys with a total capacity of 70 to provide convenient and comfortable stay to outstation students. The old girls’ hostel was established in 1986 and the boys’ hostel in 1995. The New Tribal Girls Hostel has started functioning in year 2011. All hostels are located within the college campus. Temporarily one girl’s hostel with a capacity of 72 is being used for academic purpose. Students belonging to other categories can also seek admission in both the hostels. Admissions in the hostels are granted strictly on merit basis. Our Hostels are Well-equipped with Sports facilities, Hygienic Mess, Common Room, Television, Effective water purifier & cooler system and library facilities. The mess in the hostels is being run on cooperative basis. There is an uninterrupted twenty four hours water and electricity supply. Wardens of the Hostels always encourage maximum involvement of the students in various activities in the college. Hostel staff is appointed to assist the smooth functioning of the hostels and to carry out the routine activities. The boarders are given responsibilities through various committees of the hostel in managing routine affairs. Different committees maintain discipline, academic and peaceful atmosphere in the hostels. Every hostel activities are coordinated by the hostel wardens time to time. Hostel rules and regulations are framed by the hostel Advisory Committee under the chairmanship of the college Principal. Above all in our hostels one can shape the personality and become a good human being and a responsible citizen.
